| The Nebraska Organization of Nurse Executives (NONE) represents
leadership in the field of nursing. There are V Districts in the state. Each of those
districts have their own officers and meetings. Each district has a representative to the
state board. The state board is made up of district presidents, district representatives
to the state and the elected officers of the board. The officers are president,
president-elect, past president, secretary and treasurer. The officers are voted in by the
membership at large. The state meeting of the membership is held during the NAHHS
convention in the fall and also during the annual retreat. The organization provides a
medium for the interchange of ideas and dissemination of information and materials
relative to nursing administration and or nursing management in its role of facilitating
nursing care. One of the goals of NONE is to provide a platform within the health care
field from which nursing leaders may speak. Another goal is to provide a method for
networking for nursing leadership.
Educational offerings are geared to strengthen nursing administrators and/or nursing
management and enhance their ability to direct patient care. State wide offerings are
usually at the NAHHS convention and the retreat. Each district sets up educational
presentations for their individual districts. |
