In our commitment to strengthen and promote the leadership skills of Nebraska hospital employees, the Nebraska Hospital Association, in partnership with the Nebraska Educational Alliance for Public Health Impact, and sponsored by LaMair-Mulock-Condon Co., Sampson Construction, and the Harry A. Koch Company, is pleased to announce the 2005 NHA Leadership Institute Foundations Program. The Foundations Program honors the individuals who founded the Nebraska Hospital Association in 1927; Rev. E.G. Chinlund of Immanuel Hospital, President; Blanche Fuller of Methodist Hospital, Vice President; Mrs. Homer Harris, Superintendent of Clarkson Hospital, Treasurer; and Ida Isaacson of Evangelical Covenant, Secretary. This educational initiative helps hospitals develop internal leaders by enhancing the professional skills needed for successful hospital administration.
This program is designed to provide mid-level managers, such as department heads, assistant department heads, and nurse managers, with effective and practical leadership training. In addition to enrolling current managers, participation in the program grooms employees with the potential to move into middle management positions in your hospital.
