NHA has partnerships with other organizations that offer Web-based
courses and programs for our members. These
include:
Corexcel
-Provides online nursing Contact Hours to meet licensing requirements through an extensive online nursing course catalog. Corexcel courses carry anywhere from 1 to 15.4 contact hours each. Corexcel is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). The online nursing courses meet credit (Contact Hour/CEU) requirements in Nebraska. ACRP members, X-ray Technologists and Radiology Technologists also are eligible for some course credits.
RN.com
- Dedicated to providing the nursing community with the highest quality, fully accredited continuing education online. Through their courses nurses can become more professionally competent, increase their knowledge base and meet state and other licensing/certification criteria. RN.com offers more than 115 ANCC-accredited and state-approved courses and 280 contact hours online and an instant certificate upon successful completion of the course. LabUniversity
LabUniversity is a distance learning program that was developed by COLA in response to the learning needs of physicians and laboratory staff to obtain convenient laboratory training that will meet certification and licensing requirements. It is an educational resource that can be used anytime, anywhere, via the internet. Each course includes examples drawn from current laboratory practices, so you’re gaining tangible knowledge that can be immediately applied in your laboratory.
Physicians
These educational activities are planned through the joint sponsorship of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and COLA. The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health designates specified educational activities at LabUniversity for
AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Laboratory Professionals
COLA is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. Program, Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (CE Broker) and the California Division of Laboratory Science, Department of Laboratory Field Services.
