NHA Leadership Institute 2010 Class VII Shines

In our commitment to strengthen and promote the leadership skills of Nebraska hospital employees, the Nebraska Hospital Association developed the NHA Leadership Institute in 2004. Each year, health care professionals from across Nebraska come together for a 10-month program designed to instruct, inspire and invigorate. Participants establish peer-to-peer connections and lifelong bonds with classmates and faculty.

This year’s theme, "Illuminate Your Leadership Potential," will offer participants the opportunity to shine. The Institute
provides current and up-and-coming leaders within their organizations with the necessary skills to become exceptional leaders.
Class VII’s 32 participants will improve their leadership skills and enhance their effectiveness in the health care field, while preserving the care and compassion critical to quality health care delivery—ultimately augmenting their contributions to their organizations. This initiative includes a comprehensive curriculum, combining core leadership competency working sessions with multiple layers of applied practice in health care. The curriculum is designed to be highly interactive with flexible online and teleconference accessibility—perfect for busy health care personnel.

To learn more about the NHA Leadership Institute, call Jon Borton, Vice President, Educational Services, at (402) 742-8147 or jborton@nhanet.org.
