NHA Services
NHA Services, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nebraska Hospital
Association. NHA
Services was incorporated in 1992, in response to Hospital Association members request for help in obtaining more reasonable rates on workers compensation insurance.
The corporation serves the majority of Nebraska Hospital Association member hospitals and has saved them millions of dollars in insurance premium cost.
The Board of Directors of NHA Services, Inc. is composed of executives from
participating hospitals.
NHA Services, Inc. was charted in such a way as to allow it to serve in a wide variety of roles.
In designing it business ventures, NHA Services, Inc. is guided by two precepts:
1. that ventures provide an advantage to the Nebraska Hospital Association members that they could not obtain individually, and
2. that the ventures generate a flow of funds to NHA Services, Inc. which further benefits the Nebraska Hospital Association members by providing an additional source of funding for the NHA.

NHA Research and Educational Foundation
The Nebraska Hospital Association Research and Educational
Foundation is a non-profit corporation organized for charitable, scientific and
educational purposes. The purposes of the Foundation include:
- To
advance the improvement of the health of the people of
Nebraska
through the provision of better health care.
- To
foster and sponsor educational programs for training of health career
personnel.
- To
provide financial aid for
Nebraska
hospital employees needing assistance in the pursuit of an education in the
health care field.
- To
promote and sponsor research in health care issues.
Gifts made by individuals, hospitals, families,
corporations, foundations and other organizations to the NHA Research and
Educational Foundation play a vital role in fulfilling the Nebraska Hospital
Association’s mission.
